Removed over 29K unused images! Incredibly responsive and helpful developer.

I had a client with over 43,000 images in her media library, and about 485,000 thumbnail files. We did a trial run of Media Cleaner Pro on her staging server, and found that it worked great — except it didn’t detect that the hidden Pinterest Pin images from one specific plugin were actually in use.

I contacted Jordy, and he responded very quickly and helpfully. He set up a staging server for me to add the plugin, so he could do some testing. He then updated Media Cleaner so it would correctly detect those hidden Pins, so they wouldn’t be deleted.

We then ran new version of Media Cleaner Pro on the live site, and it got rid of all those extra images. We’re now down to “only” ~14,000 images in the library and things are running much more smoothly.
