"@" removed from email address during search

  • Greetings.
    I’m running Wassup on two sites and this problem started on both installations simultaneously.

    When I’m in Visitor Details and attempt to search for a user by email address the “@” in the email address is stripped resulting in zero search results. For example, if I search for “[email protected]” what I’m getting after hitting Search is “emailemail.com”

    Could this have resulted from a WordPress update? Or is there a problem with Wassup?

  • I am also having this issue … unable to search for specific user activity by email address because the “@” symbol is getting stripped.

    I discovered that you can search by email by eliminating the “@gmail.com” or “@yahoo.com” part of the email address … just search for everything in front of the @ symbol. It will still match partial email addresses.
