Remove "You are here"

Breadcrumb NavXT does not have/add a “You are here” message, so this is either your theme, or something you added to the a setting.

Unfortunately, the screenshot isn’t terribly helpful. However, the HTML source for that page may be helpful in diagnosing what is inserting the “You are here” message.

As I said in my first reply Breadcrumb NavXT does not insert a “You are here” unless you insert it yourself in one of the settings (either a breadcrumb template, or you are using the Breadcrumb NavXT widget and set the “Text to show before the trail:” to “You are here”) or in your calling code.

By chance, does your theme claim to have Breadcrumb NavXT support (e.g. were you able to just activate Breadcrumb NavXT to get the trail to appear?)? If so, it may be your theme that is inserting the “You are here”.

Stefan, the plugin that specifies ‘You are here’ is Yoast Breadcrumbs. You might still have that plugin installed.

I have the same problem in my page. I do not have the widget, as the page theme inserts it automatically. How can I delete it? Should I contact the theme developers? Thanks a lot! (test.ciceronegranada.com)

This sounds like something the author/developer of your theme did (likely a design choice). Realistically, there isn’t much I can do as I don’t control the theme, and Breadcrumb NavXT isn’t the one injecting the “You are here” string. So either you can modify the theme (may not be the best idea), create a child theme and override the one file that is injecting the “You are here” string, or contact the author/developer of your theme.
