Remove www from domain – not working

Are requests for https://www.talenthai.at going to https://talenthai.at ?

Sure, but you can only do that if requests for https://www.talenthai.at go to the same site as talentthai.at.

When I open the two sites I see different things, so it appears they are on different sites.

If they are on different sites then you will need to put the redirect on the site you want to redirect from.

Hmmm that’s really strange. I also saw, that if I call the website www.talenthai.at, that it looks super strange and broken.

I don’t know why this is happening.
I thought that redirections are necessary for this problem to be resolved.

A redirect takes you from a source URL to a target URL. I still don’t know how your sites are setup, but the request for https://www.talenthai.at needs to go to a site with a redirect. If your redirect is on another site then it won’t have any effect.

This is the same as if I create a redirect for https://apple.com on my site it won’t have any effect because requests for https://apple.com don’t go to my site.

It had to do with multiple things:
First AWS Load Balancer – HTTP Redirection
https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/elb-redirect-http-to-https-using-alb/

And Nginx Server settings
https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/redirect-http-https-elb/

All in all … It is resolved now and everything works like a charm. ????
