Remove word “Archives”

  • On my shop page there is a banner above my products that says “Archives: Products”

    I have tried everything to get rid of the word “Archives:” from changing taxonomies in Yoast to trying to fiddle with the php but to no avail.

    If anyone can help me with this I would truly appreciate it.

    UPDATE on this issue.

    Well it is not Yoast as they responded to me and checked my site.

    Nor is it a plug-in as when I tried on a few different themes and the title on the Shop page appeared as it should.

    So if one of you good people would let me know which file I need to change to get rid of the “Archives: Product” and also “Categories: (then whatever the category it is) on the product page, i would appreciate it majorly.
