Remove White Space where Search Box used to be

Here is my site i am developing .Very simple just a page with video. I removed the search box and now I have a large white space above an image I placed in the body. There is no need for navigation on the site. I tried all the various header and style sheet changes listed here but nothing is working. I disabled the cache so i can see changes.
