    After searching around i found the following code, which works.

margin:0;
line-height:0;
float:top;
}

#social-media-icons {
float:right;
margin-top:0;
}

#header input#s {
margin-top:0;
}

#header #searchform {
float:top;
margin-top:0;
}

    I have the same situation but am nervious to edit the content. where is this added?

    Hi Friscojw,
    you can add the CSS code at: Appearance > Theme Options > Layout > Custom CSS.
