The Webmaster Dashboard widget displays for all roles. Is that intended? I’d like to use it only for certain roles, not all.

    Hey there Mike.

For each of the 4 Client Dash widgets (webmaster included), they will only show for the current user if that current user can see the page it is associated with. So, if the user is a role who can see the Webmaster page, they can see the Webmaster widget.

In order to change these settings, please visit Settings -> Client Dash -> Display and expand the “Webmaster page” box, and then, for each tab (probably just “Main”), check the box next to each role that you SHOULD see the page and widget.

It will look like this: https://d.pr/i/5cop

Let me know how this works out for you!

    All the best.

In Webmaster, I see four roles: Author, Contributor, Editor, Subscriber.
But – the webmaster widget is showing for the Administrator (my) role.
Is there a way to remove it?

In the current version of Client Dash, it is impossible to remove it for the Administrator role. This will probably change in a future version. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
