Remove user but keep as guest author

    I want to remove a user but when it asks what to do with their posts, I want to be able to keep the user as a guest author instead (with no access to admin). Is this possible?

    No, not possible. Posts need to be owned by a “real” user. But you can downgrade his account to subscriber so he won’t be able to do much.
