Remove Trailing Slashes

  • I have a need to remove all trailing slashes from URI. I know there is a mod rewrite to add a slash, but what is it to remove it? I’ve searched high and low, and haven’t found anything. Thanks in advance!

    Is it even possible to do it without hacking the WordPress core?

    I seriously doubt this is possible with a quick hack. An external redirect will cause the rule list to be processed again and I can’t see a way to avoid loops. This might be possible by making some changes somewhere in the WP code, but I’m not sure…
