Remove Tooltips Over Images

Thanks for the suggestion! I installed the plugin and immediately after there was a notification at the top that reads,

“The plugin generated 2 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice ‘headers already sent’ messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

This and the tooltips are still there. Any idea what the notification means?

I personally LOVE the built in gallery and I use it on my own website, however, my client will be updating the website herself when it is finalized and she requested the NextGen Gallery Plugin.

The notice means that particular plugin isn’t up to date with wordpress code and it’s causing some errors.

To explain tooltips. That isn’t a theme or wordpress thing. It’s a browser thing and any time you have a link with a title=”” meta in the link then the browser will show that as a tooltip if you leave your mouse over the link.

I can only suggest contacting your gallery plugin support and seeing if they have a way to turn that title off.

I will check in with the Gallery Plugin.
While I do that, is there a way to remove the title tags? Would that then remove the tooltip display?

Yes removing that title tags would remove the tooltip. You would have to ask the plugin author if you can remove.
