Remove title and date from Excerpt

    The url isn’t live yet so I cannot share it! I have tried “Excerpt” and “Excerpt with Read More” and they both show the title and date of the post. So it looks like this:

    (Title) This is my blog
    (Excerpt) This is my blog 29th January 2018 Welcome to my first blog post

    How can I remove the title and date from the excerpt?

    Thanks for your post,

    I am not sure how you tried the layout editor, you can style your own by adding CSS under layout editor and can remove any item you want.

    I have set it up correctly. I have now found the issue (in case this helps anyone else)! I am using Elementor Page Builder, but in the WordPress dashboard, if you click on the WordPress Editor rather than Edit with Elementor, it shows the title and date there above the post image and content. I have removed this and it has disappeared from the excerpt!
