    I don’t see anything that leaps out at me. I don’t quite get the point of the update.php file but that doesn’t mean this is malware.

    Do you actually have an issue with this plugin or are you just guessing? If you do have an issue then please let us know what that is.

    The update.php looks like it’s checking internally for versions and changing a setting based on the version. Not malicious, just a complex way around a messy situation.
