remove the /wordpress/ in my url

On my other www.remarpro.com site I used John Godley’s Redirection plug in to get rid of the /wordpress/ suffix on my blog. It worked fine but I have a feeling someone helped me. It was several months ago.

I am trying to do it again with another blog and I get sent to PHP Version 5.2.8 instead of my blog. What am I doing wrong? Not very good at this techie stuff!
