    Hello,

I currently use the plugin on all product pages to create 5 tabs.
I’d like to delete the plugin and use the content of the 5 tabs directly in the product description. I can’t figure out how to export the tabs.
Is it possible to export the content of the tabs or at least convert them into custom fields?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi Jean, thank you for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear you’re moving away from the plugin. The additional tabs are saved in WordPress as a cutom post type rather than a custom field. This means you can use your preferred import/export tool that works with custom posts. For example, if you use the built-in WordPress tool, you should see it in list of exportable data – https://share.zight.com/OAuZAdDR. The plugin does not come with a native import/export tool. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions. – Carl

    Hello Carl,
    Thank you for your reply.
With the method you’ve indicated, I’m able to export the product tab titles, but not the content written on each product.

Hi, Jean. Thanks for the update! I tried replicating the issue you reported, but it works fine for me when I tested it on my test site. It’s possible that what you are experiencing is a plugin or theme conflict.

    Here’s What You Can Do

    1. Could you please try using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to run tests? This won’t impact regular website users. Use Troubleshooting Mode (Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting). See this screenshot for guidance: https://prnt.sc/rTcOXne7WFRH.
    2. Back up your website and switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty One. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, WooCommerce Product Tabs, and the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. Check if this solves the issue, then reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the cause.

Please let me know how this goes.

    ~ Adrian
