    Hey Pantelis,

It is related to the API changes, yes. Instagram now only provides one massive 1080 resolution image file for each image. Do workaround this, we use this redirect method to get smaller size images that are more appropriate for the actual size of your feed.

We realize this causes the redirect issue, so we also have an image resizing/localization feature that creates and stores an image file on your server that is optimized. This is for all image sizes except the thumbnail size.

This is enabled by default. If you didn’t disable it, there may be an issue with your server’s code that resizes image files. You can contact us on our support page to see if that is the issue:

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I jump into this thread since it seems the same, if that is ok.

I got this in GMatrix “Remove the following redirect chain if possible:” too. One for every image shown.

    My settings is
    Image Resizing
[ ] Disable Local Image Storing and Resizing
    [X] Favor Local Images
It there some other setting that I should fiddle with, or do I have to live with this?

    Best wishes
    Magnus

    Hey Magnus,

There may be a problem with your website saving the resized, local images. I can take a look if you send your system info and a link to the page with the feed on it to our support team:

    Thanks!

Hey! Same issue here. Before a day or two I wasn’t receiving the redirect issue from GT Metrix. When I checked my page today I saw my 4 photos being on there. What could be the reason?

    Hey vigyx,

You could try enabling the setting “Favor Local Images” found on the “Customize” tab to only use local images or there may be a problem with the image resizing feature. We can take a look if you contact support:

    Thanks,
