I want to remove the link from the authors name. When it says posted by [name], you can click on the name and get all the posts from that author. How do i remove this, so it’s only text?

This is not the exact line you would use, but I do that with CSS:

.comment-author-link{display:none;}

The line I posted is only an example. You will need to find the element you want to hide and then apply {display:none;} to it.
