Remove the 8mb upload limit??

I am really exhausted with searching for a solution for this…

I am trying to change that absurd upload limit that governs the media Library. It is 8MB, I want it to be 50MB. Everyone keeps saying “edit it in the php.ini file”, I’m using godaddy…I looked into the php.ini file and nowhere does it give parameters in that file for editing the upload max code. this seems like it should be a really small issue, does anyone have a solid solution for this?
