  • In your admin, go to Appearance -> Widgets. There should be a list of active widgets, the third of which is a text widget that is contains this text.

You can either remove the entire widget (drag & drop), or change the title and the text in there.

Thanks for response. But still it is not clear to me. In the widget area there is a footer widget but if I click on it nothing come from it. So, please say in details to solve this problem.

If you go to the Appearance -> Widgets, you’ll see one or more sidebars (I can’t tell how many you have, since I don’t know the theme you’re using).

Maybe you have one Footer sidebar with 4 widgets, maybe you have 4 sidebars each with 1 widget. Regardless, open the sidebar(s) by clicking on it’s title and you should find a text widget somewhere (just called “Text“).

If you click on that one, it should open up and show you the contents you’re looking for, and you can edit that.

Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom of the widget once you’re done editing!

Just go to your theme footer.php and you can see this code on line no 69.

If you modify an existing theme and it is updated, your changes will be lost. With a child theme, you can update the parent theme (which might be important for security or functionality) and still keep your changes.
