Remove tags from form?

First thing, you form looks fine. Why do you want to fiddle with the underlying code?

Specifically, what tags are you wanting to remove AND why?

On the <p> tag, to test removing it before you remove it, put an exclamation mark between the< and the ‘p’, save the change and view the form. If you’re happy, you can go back and actually delete the <p> tag. If you don’t like the results, simply remove the exclamation mark.

I would if I knew where the <p> tag was being created. I’d just take it out because it doesn’t need to be there.

I want to move the
tags because I don’t like the way the form is spaced. I would like the titles to sit on top of the input fields.

It does look like a blank line between the label and the text field on your form. I didn’t notice that previously. Take a look at one of my sites <lcoc-moaa.org/scholarship-form-test> and see if the spacing in more to your liking.

To edit the form and add/remove form elements, log into the WP control panel, click Contact and, when the next page loads, mouseover the line BELOW the name of the form in question and click ‘Edit’. When the form design screen loads, you’ll see the underlying design of the form. If you see a <p> tag, you can remove it, if you want. I would suggest making one change at a time until you get comfortable with what yous are doing.

After each change, click ‘Save’ located at the upper right of the page. Open the form in your browser and see how your change looks. If you are happy, good on you. If not, get back into edit mode and continue on.
