Hi. Since I am not using the shop feature, can I delete these tables from my database without causing any issues with the plugin or downloads?

    wp_dlm_order
    wp_dlm_order_customer
    wp_dlm_order_item
    wp_dlm_order_transaction

I am trying to declutter my database for efficiency.

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, you can delete them but I would not recommend it as they would not take more than a few bytes.

Why not introduce an option in your plugin instead for the tables to be written in the database if one activates the shop feature?

    Are you ignoring this question?

    Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. No, we are not ignoring your questions. We try avoiding adding multiple options to our plugin. We will consider this but cannot promise anything.

The thing why I hate the options I pointed up there is because the database entries for this plugin alone make 1/4 of all my database tables. I have used the plugin extensively across my blog posts and I guess I will just have to search and replace them or do away with the plugin entirely. I just want to keep my database lean and clean.
