    Hi team,
    I’m trying to find a way to remove this tag:

    <meta property="og:locale:alternate" content="pt_PT">

    For certain languages, in this case for RU and PT. The reason why is because these pages are set to noindex, nofollow, but still show in the HEAD of other languages of the same page. Any insights would be great!

    Thanks

    Hi @rjdusk

    We’d like to refer you to our documentation here on modifying the output of the og:locale tag – https://developer.yoast.com/features/opengraph/api/changing-og-locale-output/

    @mikes41720 thanks for that pointer, I’ll try and figure out how to make this work with removing certain language og:locale:alternate metas. I see the two functions on the linked documentation either set the default locale (og:locale) or remove it entirely.

    No doubt I need to dig deeper into how to unset certain og:locale:alternate metas, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated ??

    Thanks again!
