Remove space where woocommerce cart was

Hello all,
I had to add my own cart to my menu to provide a consistent menu to my entire site and I was able to do that and remove the woocommerce cart icon when navigating to store pages but there is still a space affecting the menu bar on the shop pages where the woocommerce icon used to be…
Help? ??
