remove space to right of menu in 2011

I removed the search field from the menu in the child, via CSS.

However, a space remains – when I add to the menu, it wraps. I’ve looked through the forums – there’s a few responses but they don’t work (for me, at least)

Any ideas how I might remove it with CSS?
