    Hello,

I have an automatic “slogan” on all my urls. I’ve already checked :
    – WP settings slogan : it is not that
    – WP settings permalinks : set on https://plantb.bio/exemple-article/ (publication title)
So, I wondered where I might have entered it to remove it. I thought of Yoast but can’t find anything on Yoast menus. On Yoast, already checked :
    – configuration assistant
    – SEO settings / publication types
Could you please help find where to remove it ?
    Thank you !
    Benedicte

  • Could you be referring to the Site Description (Tagline) found in Settings -> General?

I think the following has happened:
You’ve got a long name on your main page. But you never see its URL, because the URL of the start page is hidden. Publicly it’s shown as just /.

But: When if you link a page to be a child page under that main page, then the slug of the main page suddenly will show.

    Solution 1:
Change the slug of your start page to home or something similar.

    Solution 2:
Mark all your relevant pages as being on the main level. You can create a manually maintained navigation menu that doesn’t bother about the parent/child page structure.

@howdy_mcgee : yes sorry didn’t use the proper term. I was referring to my tagline indeed, which is ok.

@tobifjellner : thank you ! found it thanks to you ! In fact, I might have entered these words one day manually on my HP slug. I removed it on the WP ‘Pages’ section and it worked.

Thank you 2 for your help ??
    Have a nice day
