Remove site title from footer

Add this line to the end of style.css:

#site-info a { display: none; }

Nope that did not work. I want to remove the site-info from just the footer. That is why I am thinking the code for the site info might be in the Footer.php.

What did that code do? It works for me when I enter it into FireFox.

So sorry, I did it again and this time enclosed it:
}
#site-info a { display: none; } and it worked.

I thought the code would also remove the site-info that is at the top of the header, but it didn’t?
How come?

in the header its called site-title

should it not be :

#site-info a {
	display: none;
}

Makes no difference if it is on one line or not.
