  • Hi DalesWife,

    > remove the site title from the body of the blog
    Sorry, What does that mean?

To remove the title of the site

    Show admin screen of WordPress.
Settings > General Settings page “Site Title”
Title is blank and put a space in the site name.

    Or you can.

Appearance > Chocolat Settings page “Logo Settings”
Show to blank the title, set a transparent image in the logo.

If you like a different method, could you tell me a bit more detail?

    Thank you.

    thanks for answering.

many wp themes have an option to “hide” site title. it’s usually a small checkbox right beneath where you enter the site title.

I do not want a site title to show on my site, since i have a banner header with my site title on it. HOWEVER, with this theme – if you do not have a site title, then no site title appears on the internet tab.

To be more clear – if my site is named welcometoxyz.com, and i have “WELCOME TO XYZ” in the site title, then “WELCOME TO XZY” will appear both at the top of my webpage and on the internet/safari tab (just under the address bar).

If I leave “site title” blank, then “WELCOME TO XYZ” does not appear at the top of my webpage. (This is the way I want my site to look, with no site title since my header has my site title on it.) HOWEVER, when I leave that blank, the internet/safari tab will then reads “welcometoxyz.com”, and not “Welcome to XYZ”.

WHAT I WOULD PREFER: I would like my internet/safari tab to say “Welcome to XYZ” but I’d like the option to NOT have that at the top of my webpage.

I know this is an option I’ve had with other themes.

    Thanks for your help!

Thank you for explaining in detail.

Appearance > Chocolat Settings page “Logo Settings”
If you set the transparent image in the logo, you can display the title of the web page and the top of the “Internet” tab, and you can hide the title of the site.

Sorry but there is no option to “hide” site title in “Chocolat”.
If it is possible, I want to put that option by update after the next time.

    Thank you.

Is there currently a setting to make my header click to the home page? or will that be added as well?

Sorry but there is no option to “hide” site title in “Chocolat”.

    Did you try this?
First of all, please try this.

It was after about one week, and then change the resolved because there is no answer.
    Thank you.
