remove sidebar in serenti theme

Hello,

First I’d like to thank you for your beautiful theme.

I would like to remove the space designed for the right sidebar in the Serenti theme. Without ant widget, it remains an empty space, but I’m unable to stretch existing content into it, and I would like to have full width pages.
I removed the line <?php get_sidebar(); ?> in the page.php file of my child theme but I dont’t know how to remove this remaining empty space…
