This layout issues depend not only Woocommerce but also the theme.

For example, in some of the Woo’s own themes (at least in the free ones I checked) there is even an option for this purpose:

Theme Options > WooCommerce Options > Layout
    Shop pages full width:
( ) Shop archives displayed full-width with no sidebar

I hope you don’t mind me posting on this thread, but I’m having the same problem as everyone else. I managed to remove the footer by editing the WooCommerce PHP files, but I don’t know where to modify the CSS to make the footer appear in the correct place.

The page in question is https://makeovermasters.co.nz/shop/shop-gift-vouchers/. It also reaches out to every other page used by WooCommerce.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ??

You seem very knowledgeable in this particular of Woocommerce and I would like to ask you or anyone else for help.

I have used a YI Theme for my Woocommerce website. I have been able to create a different single page template so I can have some Product Details pages different to others.

Ie. I have used If Else in single-product-customcategory.php so hopefully I can have some products show the Sidebar, and others I want to disable the Sidebar and have the content fill from left to right.

I have tried your solutions but at present, nothing at all shows up in the content section for my selected product and theme. I imagine it is because it is a responsive theme as when I resize the window, or view on iPhone, the silly Sidebar disappears. I don’t think I have got the CSS in the right file.

Are you able to suggest what and where to make CSS changes so this page looks good on PC? Items in this category should not have Sidebar as I used hooks to move the Add to Cart stuff to underneath the description.

    Thanks ??

I am using Divi theme and I was able to remove sidebar by going to: Appearance -> (Divi) Theme Options -> General Settings-> Shop Page Layout. Set to full width.
