Remove sidebar from Portfolio pages

I tried following this https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/create-custom-single-post-templates-for-specific-posts-or-sections-in-wordpress/ per the link above.
I get an attribute in my posts to change the template, but the attribute option doesn’t exist in the Portfolio item.

This is similar to how in a post I have the option to change sidebar layouts, but in Portfolio Items this option doesn’t exist.

Get this figured out? There’s only one option for the sidebar but does not show up on the page.

I have not figured out how to not have a sidebar.
