  • Hi Eitan,

You can hide the sidebar by adding sidebar=”no” to your shortcode (i.e. [product-catalogue id=”X” sidebar=”no”]).

It should be possible to get the sidebar to display horizontally above the products, but it would require customization, using the “Custom CSS” box for your catalog (found by going to the “Catalogues” tab and then clicking your catalog).

    Thanks!
This partly works, as I couldn’t find any way to add the categories to the top, just like in the sidebar. Category shortcode exist only within the catalog shortcode, so that brings another catalog.

Can you show me where in the code is the category located, maybe I’ll just add it manually to the page above the catalog.

    Thanks!

    Hi Eitan,

What you’re looking for should be found in the Shortcodes.php file in the Functions folder.

    Thanks!

I’m not a coder. Although I found the right code, I couldn’t make any sense of how to implement it.
So I figured a simple way would be CSS, but since every category has its own set of divs, Couldn’t find a way to inline them horizontally.

Any help would be very much appreciated…

    Thanks again!

    Hi Eitan,

If you reduce the size of your browser window enough (or look at it on a mobile device), you’ll see that the sidebar does eventually move to above the catalog. You could maybe take the CSS used for that as a starting point.

    Thank you!
So easy! I was using my iPad, and it still was vertical.
    Cool! Thanks again.
    Solved.
