remove shipping costs from total for one product

    I have added a gift card onto the store.

    And want to exclude this specific item from the costs in the checkout process that go towards calculated shipping costs.

    However searching online I did not find anything to remedy this situation.

    For example. Gift Card is $50 – Free Shipping is set to $100

    If there are items in the cart that add up to $60 and I also add gift card worth $50 into cart. The total is $110. However only $60 should be used as products for shipping and hence there should be a shipping cost associated with this order.

    Just to clarify, how are you creating the Gift Card at your store?

    Furthermore, to get an idea of how your site is configured, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via ‘WooCommerce > Status’. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
