Remove Reply box on selected pages, move sign up widget to multiple pages

I am new to Web design, and wodrpress.org.

I Inherited madashellboycott.com midstream. With a Response theme.

So please forgive stupid questions as I am overloaded with info and can’t seem to accomplish the following.

1. I would like to remove the “Leave a Reply” response box from all web pages. How? I’ve pushed every button I could find… I have found that I can stop the posts from being displayed by not approving them. My goal is to have one new blog page, not all of them being input pages.

2. I have a “Widget” on the front page that collects signatures. Which has a small orange box at the bottom to start the process. I would like to activate this same widget by clicking the “Action Box” which is now labeled “Click the orange box below to join.”
