I’m using GoDaddy’s MINS theme and am stumped on how to go about changing the cityscape image that is used under the header on the Blog page. The page was created using the MINS theme blog template page. I’ve tried numerous times to find where to edit the image (page code, block editor for the page and theme editor), but can’t figure it out. I’m hoping someone can help me here. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @gorydetails1, I hope you are doing great,

The image you are referring to is set as a featured image for the blog page. Therefore, you can change it or remove it by opening the WordPress editor on the Blog page and checking the Featured Image option as seen below:

    I hope this helps, cheers!

Andrija, thank you for your help here. I opened my WordPress editor on the Blog page and there weren’t any images set as the featured image. I tried setting one hoping that it would replace the template city image, but the featured image only affects the header. The result being I now have a set header (which is fine), but the cityscape image is still there right below the header. I would just delete it from my media library, but I’m afraid of causing more problems that I can’t fix. Any suggestions?

Update… went back into WordPress editor and went to my first post page (Welcome.) which DID have the cityscape image set as the featured image. Removed it and problem is solved! Thank you Andrija!
