Hello, I need to hide the files from a remote location, in this case Google Drive, where web backups have been sent. After disconnecting the account and adding a new one with no backups saved, the remote location still shows many backups from previous dates.

I already uninstalled/installed the plugin but the files from the old account are still showing up.

    Hi Mairag,

The list in UpdraftPlus is a list of backups that have been taken. It is not telling you that it knows that the backups still exist in remote storage – remote storage can be unreliable, can come and go as network connections experience problems. If you wish to delete from the list in UpdraftPlus, then you should use the delete facility in UpdraftPlus itself.

Hello David, thanks for your reply.

I connected my account to a friend’s website to make a tutorial for her, but now she has lots of backups that are from other websites showing up because they were on my Updraft folder. I know that all remote backups show up when you connect an account but didn’t know they will stay once the account was disconnected.
I can delete them because I need them for my other sites.

You can delete them from the list of backups without deleting them from the remote storage. That is an option that appears when you press ‘Delete’.
