remove "Recents Posts" from the page footer ?

    Hi,
    every time I create a new page, the footer shows “Recents Posts” which I do not want. In the Widgets settings I’ve removed all widgets from all parts. How can I get rid of this footer ?

    I’m using Twenty Eleven theme.

    Switching to “Default template” solved the problem
