Remove Read More

I am looking for a way to remove the Read More link on the hover over. I only list the calendar item, (whether open or closed) or holiday hours and list the hours, which are viewable upon hover, but I don’t need any option for read more, since there is nothing more there and would like to find out how to remove that option form the default theme, which I guess would make it a “custom” theme.
