I am facing this issue in almost all sites where lscache is installed. When CSS and JS minify option is activated, all the js and css files are appended with additional query strings like wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/f68d7.js?a534e
I tried activating Remove query strings option in LScache but that didnt work and the files have strings attached. Due to this none of the css and js files are cached.

    Any help on this?

  • Hi,

From the site you provide, I can see all of your CSS and JS files are properly cached. They were not when I first opened your site, but after refreshing, they all got “cache hit”. If you want them to be cached before the first viewer opens up the page, then you have to run the crawler to pre-cache your site.

    Regards.

Thank you for the response. I see that its getting cached now. But the query strings are still there. Any specific reason for these query strings attached to all the css and js files by lscache?

    Hi,

these queries were deliberately added into LiteSpeed generated files , so when you change something , like edit css/js or something , browser will be forcefully to load new files due to different query , so you won’t serve old content to your users

    Best regards,
