    Hi,

If a logged in user try to remove his/her profile picture with the remove button and hit save it is still left in my-account.

Tried to disable every other plugin except User Registration but the problem remain.

    Cheers

    Hi @treetex,

You can’t change your profile picture from within WordPress. Instead, you have to log into the Gravatar platform and associate a new avatar with your email address.

Suppose you are asking for the profile picture premium feature. This feature is under our premium plan, and according to the WordPress Support community guidelines, we can not provide support for the premium feature here.

Would you please check this link https://wpeverest.com? You will get the live chat option. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Hi @amrit,

Why is then there a “Remove” button?
You can change your profile picture without the need of the Gravatar platform. All you have to do is upload a picture from your pc, tablet or smartphone.

What i miss is to remove an uploaded picture that is showing in the users dashboard with the remove button so it returns to the default “Gravatar image”. It does that just after hitting Save in the Edit profile tab but if I switch to My account tab the picture is still there. And if I then remove back to the Edit profile tab the picture is back there also.

To me it looks like some code that has to be in place, but I′m not a programmer.

    Cheers

    Hi Treetex,

Thank you for the proper explanation,

Yes, you can change the profile picture from your My-account/ Edit Profile. If the account has already set the gravatar, the remove button will display the default gravatar set by the user. If not, then it will display the blank. This feature is appropriately working on our testing and dev sites. We have manually tested and confirmed it.

If the remove button shows the same picture after reloading the site or changing the tabs, it can be cache or the plugin conflict. We suggest you clear the caches once. If this does not help, please deactivate all other plugins except User Registration and see if it works. If everything works fine, then you can activate other plugins one after another and do remove profile pictures at the same time. This will let you know the cause of the error.

Let me know if it helps or not, and I will get back to you.

    Regards!

    Hi Amrit,

It’s the “Ajax submission on edit profile” that does not save the “remove picture” change. Changing picture works fine though.
If I untick that option in settings everything works. But that button is much uglier and with the text “No picture selected” next to it.

This was tested both on an online and offline website with only your plugin activated.

    Cheers!

    Hi Treetex,

Thank you for this precious information,

We are able to replicate this issue on our testing site as well. We will fix this issue on our next update of the plugin.

    Regards!

Hello, i had this problem, when i upload a Profile picture through the account page it works, but when i try to delete it, it doesn’t work, while it can be deleted through the Profile settings on the backend just fine.

I tried to test the plugin on a fresh WordPress installation (no plugins installed – Twenty Twenty-Two theme). I tried using WP User Manager 2.7 and 2.8.1 on WordPress 5.8 and 5.9.3, i also cleared cache and tried different browsers, and tried different localhost (all my attempts were made locally), and the “problem” persisted… later when i finally tried it on live server it worked!

Can you explain why it doesn’t work on localhost and it works on live server? is it a bug or feature? (i hope no one else wastes his time like i did)
