Remove product variation duplicated on Checkout page and order emails

    From the screenshot it seems that the first occurrence of the quantity is part of the product title itself and the second part after the hyphen (the part encircled) is meant to indicate the quantity.

    Is it possible to share the URL so we can check if it is actually so? Depending on that you may either consider restructuring the product title or removing the quantity (second) part. So that we can be able to provide accurate guidance please share either the site URL or a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    The first ocurrence is part of product title, this is ok.

    The second part is mean to indicate the quantity but, there are a third part where is indicated the quantity again, you can see new screenshot:

    Thanks for clarifying.

    It seems that this is happening on the “Order Received” emails. I tried ‘checking out’ but did not see this behavior on the checkout page.

    Anyways, the simplest way to get rid of the unwanted part is to first detect which plugin is adding it. For that:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Start disabling all plugins one by one except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that shows whether the duplicate still displays or not

    Once identified, you’ll want to check if there is an option to disable it in the plugin settings. If not, we’d recommend contacting the plugin developer directly for assistance regarding removing the text.

    If you don’t want to run the test on your live production site, you can create a duplicate/staging site. Many hosting providers offer site staging facilities, but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin.

    This would be expected as product variation would form part of the product name in the order email. A better option would be to omit the product variation (the green circled part) from the product name, but have the quantity purchased (circled with red) part.     The problem is in thankyou page too. This is solution is not good for me, i think the green circle displays better the quantity instead the red circle.
