remove posts from homepage to archives

    dear colleagues
    i have a monthly magazine that publishes a new cover each month,
    so every 1st of each month all the posts related to previous month has to be archived (removed from homepage, not deleted), in order to post new article related to the new cover.

    how i can achieve this?

    You could use categories or tags to mark posts as “current” or “home” and then tweak the home page to display only those. On the 1st of each month, remove the tags or categories from the old stuff and categorize or tag the new.
