I want to make my website more professional looking. How do I remove the “posted by” and “tagged as” on the top of the page? I looked at the code in some of the php files, but can’t find anything that related to this. Thanks!

  • Not having a link to your blog, not knowing which theme is active, not knowing on which “page” do you want to remove all that stuff – it’s a pointless attempt to offer any help.
You have to be a bit more specific (+provide a link for the visual types:) if you want help.

This worries me, not that it’s my place to judge..

I use One Column 1.0 by Sadish Balasubramanian as the theme. The address of the site is: https://www.visualizeyourgoals.com. The site has one page and it is on that main page.

What worries you rooraaahcrumbs? The site is is testing phase at the moment.

Well, it doesn’t look like a blog, I just saw those “commercial” yelling lines… so I quickly hot the Back button.
Anyway, open your theme’s index.php and remove the lines you don’t need.

I visited the link and felt like donning a condom, as I said, it’s not my place to comment on what looks professional or not.

Sorry for posting this Moshu, but it doesn’t seem like something I’d want to be associated with, and no offence to Cornelis, etc etc.

Haha, yes it is not a blog indeed. Just wanted to proof some Internet Marketing people a point which is that you can use WordPress for commercial sales sites as well. I am close to proofing it.

    Sorry I freaked you out….

    Thanks, that worked!

Thanks rooraaahcrumbs and no offence taken. I used to be very concerned about what looks professional as well, but I got over that I now just use what works (if you want to make sales online). Different people, different goals.
