    Hello,

There are pages in our sitemap that include URLs of our other websites. For example we have websiteone.com and in its sitemap are posts of websitetwo.com and websitethree.com. Is there a way to remove them from the sitemap.xml file?

    Hi,

we only include URLs from the same site, I’m not sure to fully understand your issue.

Can you share your XML sitemap URL please?

By default, to exclude URLs from XML sitemaps, you can set them to noindex.

    Hi Benjamin,

Could I send it to you via DM instead of posting here please?

We will try noindexing the posts. They are using a plugin that makes them open an external URL, maybe that is why they are showing as the other domains?

    Thank you,

    Hi,

“They are using a plugin that makes them open an external URL” -> this could be the issue, yes.

Try to disable it and see if it solves your issue.

    Thx

Thank you Benjamin, they were able to set up the sitemap so that it does not index pages/posts set to open an external URL, but thank you for confirming that could be the issue.
