Remove payment description field (under credit card, paypal, etc) in WooCommerce

    Does anyone know how to remove the field in WooCommerce that describes each payment method? For example, when I select PayPal as my payment method, a field shows up underneath it (on the front end) that says: “Pay with PayPal (you can pay with a credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account).” How do I get rid of these fields? Thank you.

    Edit the payment method and unset the ‘description’ field.

    Yes, that works when I unset the description field for the other payment methods (PayPal, Bitcoin), but when I do that for the credit card payment option (Stripe), the box/field still shows up underneath, and it’s empty. How do I remove the empty box/field? Thank you for your help.

    Stripe checkout setting enabled or disabled?

    Right now, “Stripe checkout” is disabled because disabling it brings up the credit card info input fields automatically, bypassing the whole “empty description box” thing. Which works, I guess. But I kind of like the popup that comes with enabling Stripe checkout where you input your credit card info, but it leaves me with the empty description box, so I’ve disabled it. I can just keep it disabled, not a big deal. I was just wondering if there was an easy fix to the empty description box. If not, then we can resolve this issue and not use anymore of your time.

    I think you’d have to use CSS in that case to hide it – but that would affect all of the payment options.

    Okay, I’ll just keep it the way it is (with Stripe checkout disabled). Thanks for your help, you’re a Jolley good fellow. ??
