Remove Page Titles

I am using twenty11 theme and am trying to remove the page titles from displaying.

I have tried removing <h1 class=”entry-title”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>.from the content.php file, but nothing has changed. I have also attempted to edit the css styles with no luck.

What can I do to stop these page titles from showing?
