• I just uploaded my site yesterday (https://dipstickstudio.com) after building it with MAMP and all seems to be OK, though there are a couple of things I’m hoping to tweak.
I’m working with a child created from Supreme Social theme, and was hoping to eliminate the large grey area intended to display the page title under the header on all pages besides the home. The theme options allow you to not display the title, but the grey area and all the space it takes up remains. I copied the page.php into my child theme. I’m guessing that’s where it would be, but I know zip about coding.
Would it help to copy paste that code here?
    Thanks!

  • Did you get this sorted? I can’t see any grey area taking up space.

The approach I take is to use the jetpack plugin which has a menu option editing the css. Appearance > Edit Css

Then you can select the css class you want to remove and put the code in there.

Thanks, wpjobz. Yes, I did get it sorted. There was a check box built into the theme that hides the slider area.
I will definitely download Jetpack for further problems though. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.
I also noticed someone on another thread said this forum was only for free themes. Supreme Social is premium, so I’ll take further issues to the creators of the theme.
    Thanks again.
