• I’m working on the WP site https://landesign.us. The site has pages with names like “Details” and “Clients.” Something in WordPress is making these words turn up as links to those pages in the page text, whether it makes any sense or not. An example of this is the link “Details” at the end of the sentence on the front page that begins “Your project has…” – the “Details” page is a series of type illustrations, and the page link in that sentence is totally confusing.

    I can’t find how to turn this off, or at least only do it when we want it. Help would be most appreciated.

  • Looks like one of your plugins is doing this. Any with “link” or “SEO” in their title are particular suspects. Deactivate all plugins, and if the problem goes away, reactivate them one at a time until you can identify which one it is.

    Thanks, that’s a very helpful suggestion. We do have a plugin with ‘SEO’ in the title. I’ll check it out.
