Remove notification

    How can I remove this notification?
    EWWW Image Optimizer could not install tools in ... Please adjust permissions or create the folder. If you have installed the tools elsewhere on your system, check the option to Use System Paths. For more details, visit the Settings Page or the Installation Instructions.

    Everything works and this is false positive but can’t be removed…

    That generally means there are newer versions of the tools/binaries available that the plugin is trying to install for you.
    But to know more, I’d have to see your debug information. To that end, please enable the Debugging option, and then copy the debug information from the bottom of the settings page and send it via https://ewww.io/contact-us/

    Thanks, but, in most cases, I am ok with older versions. But I am not ok with having part of the screen taken by notification I can’t dismiss…

    I’m afraid there isn’t any way to dismiss it, because there are sometimes security updates that should be resolved, rather than ignored. Without the debugging information, I’m afraid I can’t be much help.
