Remove (not only hide) single products page

  • Hello,

    I would like to ask if there is a chance to remove the single products pages… I succeded in hiding them and, using custom fields, replace the links with a link to another page I have created… but I would like not to generate them at all, so they are not found by Google and other bots.
    Is there a way to do so?
    I like the main store page but don’t need single product pages, to cut a long story short… Thank you so very much for your help!

    I have just installed the Meta Robots plugin to achieve this, so maybe that’s a good solution… just wondering if there are any better ones ??
