I’m just looking for some quick CSS that I can add to my custom CSS editor to remove the “No Comments” labels that appear in the sub-lines beneath the titles of my posts. I already used a plug-in to disable comments, but I can’t find the code to disable that label anywhere online. I’m using the Shop Isle theme.

    Thanks

You can see what I mean here: https://realityseeker.org/more-stories-will-follow/

The byline reads: Author | Date | No Comments

  • You cannot remove the “No Comments labels with CSS. You will find the code to delete the label in shop-isle>inc>structure>post.php file in your theme directory. Look for shop_isle_posted_on() function there.

I’m pretty new to this. I need more detailed instructions about how to access the post.php file and remove that function.

I looked in my editor, but I couldn’t find it.

oh yeah the file is in a subdirectory so you cant access it via editor. You have to install a plugin named “wpide” to access the file.

Hello, it looks like you already solved this, there’s no need to use a plugin to disable comments, you can do that from WordPress dashboard->settings->discussion
